The idea in truth to me is pretty basic. To me truth is being honest, loyal, and trustworthy to the people you care about. To me truth is being who you are and not caring what other people say. The truth to me really, is not being rude, not making fun of others, and not being disloyal to your friends and people you care about. The things I know to be truthful in my life are, If you be honest to people they will get to know you and trust you and they will be honest to you. I know this from experience. I know that rough patches eventually end. I have to admit, this is one of the truest statements I have come up with. Before, I was a bad kid. I broke windows and did all of the bad things all of the teenagers were doing. It was kind of fun at first. Then it got worse and worse. A kid I know convinced me to start breaking into these abandoned dorms. I really did not want to but he convinced me to. Eventually, we were there basically every day breaking stuff. We got caught and I ran. I hid in the bush until the cops left. My friends kept bugging me and eventually the bugging ended. So that’s experience too. Another thing that I have learned in my thirteen years is that good friends are pretty hard to find. Today a fairly good friend whipped a hard baseball at my head. It connected and it hurt allot. I have a huge headache now. But most of all it hurt that he was pretty much using me. Also I might add, everyone is different. Everyone has a different story in life and its mean to make fun of them because you don’t know what they have been through. I hate teasing. I get teased a lot I must admit but I don’t care about half the stuff people say about me. Barely anyone knows my life so why are they being so mean? It’s because they only care about themselves, or they want to fit in. As I said it is rude and uncalled for. I admit that I have teased quite a bit of people but I have apologised. Treat people how you would like to be treated.

Hello. My class is reading a novel called the hobbit. I am retelling the events that happened in the chapters one to five. Here it goes. In the hobbit there, obviously is a hobbit but he wasn’t like the other hobbits. His mother Belladonna Took was “one of the three remarkable daughters of old took.” Once in a while some of the Tooks would go on adventures. Belladonna took gave Bilbo his adventure side. One day Bilbo was outside smoking his pipe. He saw and elderly man and said “good morning.” The old man was Gandalf. Gandalf asked Bilbo If he wanted to go on an adventure during the conversation they had. Bilbo had said no and walked back inside of his house. Just then Gandalf scratched a symbol on Bilbo’s door. The next day there came a ring at his door. It was a dwarf. His name was Dwalin. Bilbo didn’t know this man and Dwalin just walked right in. eventually throughout the night 13 more dwarves came because of the sign on the door. Their names were Dwalin, Balin, Kili, Fili, Dori, Ori, Nori, Oin, Gloin, Bifur, Bofur, Bomber, and Thorin. Thorin was the most respectable dwarf there. They were having this big discussion about adventures. By the end of the night the dwarves were singing about this great adventure and gold and that kind of stuff. In the morning they left a note for Bilbo and Bilbo ran to the place they wanted him to-the dwarves that is-. There they set off for the mountains. They fought a troll and found 2 goblin killing swords. When they got there it started to rain really hard. Fili and Kili went to look for shelter and found a cave, (there are goblins on that mountain). They all went to sleep except Bilbo and the goblins attacked them and took them into the deep segments of the cave. When they got down the goblin king saw the swords and wanted to kill the adventurers Gandalf came and saved them. Bilbo got lost and tripped and got knocked out. When he awoke there was nothing but darkness. He found a ring and he started walking along the wall. He saw a Gollum and the Gollum said he would show Bilbo the way out if he could beat him in riddles. He won but the ring was Gollum’s and Bilbo wouldn’t give it back he eventually escaped the cave.

My thoughts and opinions about these chapters are all good ones. I liked the style of writing the author used because it adds lots of personality. In the beginning it says Bilbo has a book that he records everything in. I think this story could be that book. I think this because it has so many of dashes to explain things. Also I liked these chapters because he really puts an image into my mind, the way he describes theses things is magnificent he really lets you understand what the things look like. Another thing I like about Tolkien’s writing style is he never leaves anything out in his descriptions He even put that Bilbo had hairy toes to keep warm and leathery soles on the bottom of his feet so he doesn’t have to wear shoes. I love Tolkiens writing and I’m about to read more of his wonderful book so Bye for now.

Some of the things I want to learn are I wanrt to lear how to drive a motorcycle because i don’t wanrt to drive a car because it uses less gas and its funner. Another reason i want to use a motorcycle is because If I eventually live in a big city I can go between cars in a traffic jam. I also want to lear how to dissect things. That would be soo cool just ripping open cats and looking at their insides ( even though it would be cruel). I also want to become a dantist or a hockey player because I already know how but I wantto be a dentist because it will be a  challenge for me to learn how. I want to also know how to do house hold chores. Not that I would do them but if I had to I could.thats the end of the things I want to learn.

I think teenagers mostly need their parents for emotional advice, things like video games, shelter, comfort, food and support. I think teens need their parents for emotional advice because, say that something goes wrong while they wee out and they get depressed about it so they talk to their parents and feel better. I think that teens need support because say that you want to run like 1000 meter run and your parents don’t support that that would make you get down on yourself and if your parents wouldn’t support you they wouldn’t pay for you to go on trips and stuff. The reason I think that parents should get teenagers like video games and stuff is to keep them occupied so they don’t do bad things like brake windows and steal and stuff for fun so they keep out of trouble is m point. Teens need shelter from their parents obviously to keep warm and they have a place they feel safe in. in and keep their stuff in. Teens need food and comfort because for obvious reasons they need to eat. But they need comfort to because if they aren’t comfortable were they living then they can’t feel safe and secure. Also teens need to be comforted by their parents when they feel down sometimes. Teens also need freedom. It depends on the parents but I think that we should be able to stay out later than usual when we were younger.

I had studies anoeexia for my TED talks project. I had learned a lot about anorexia. Like for instance did you know that over 150,000 people die a DAY from anorexia? I do now. But seriosly I bet only a few of you know how serios this is. My thoughts were this. If This continues the population of the world will drastically decrease. The meant to me, that there won’t be enough people to do their jobs their wont be enough people to invent new things for us and the everything will go all wrong. Well, that is only my thoughts but I think it is realy true that that might happen. i have also learned that it is not just women that get eating disorders men can get them too and they have the equal likeliness to die just like women. I thought that in my class that if I picked Anorexia and eating disorders that people would make fun of me. But I was proved wrong like no one made fun of me. I am really nervous to do my presentation. I think im going to choke in the middle of it. In out presentation we need a presentation like google presentation or open tabs or powerpoint. I am doing powerpoint because I am most familiar with it. I learned to put some information in point form on cards so then I don’t choke. Im really really nervous still. We picked times to do it today and I picked the last spot. I think im done telling what I learned so I’ll write you later.

What I have learned about researching is that you have to go to many different sources to get the correct answer because some jerk could put up a false website and the give you false informaition. Another thing  I have learned is that if you take something from someones site like a short storie or something then you have to put it in quotation amrks or you could get in trouble for plagurising and like get sewed. I havel leared quite a bit about researching. Some more things I learned was that you can e- mail important people and then they might send you back information, (too bad it didnt work for me.)! well, thats basically all what I learned about research on my TED talks project Bye.

What success means to me is that you have a good life and a good family in the future. It means you don’t have a crappy job you hate it means you have a descent job that you like. Success means that you have a fair amount of money and you don’t live on the street. I would define success as being something you want to achieve in life and then you do it. If you don’t get what I’m saying here’s the definition from the dictionary. A successful life for me would be getting my grade 12 and then probably go to college. After collage I would probably get a decent job at a bank or a fast food restaurant or something. When I get some serious cash I’m going to buy myself a nice house, get a better job and have a family to me that would be success.

Some people I fin successful are Donald Trump and Will Farrell. I find Donald Trump successful because he is a good business man and he makes a lot of money by being a business man and he raised two kids. He is really, really rich! I think that Will Farrell is very successful because he is very funny and he is making loads of cash in the movie business because he is so awesome in movies and he has lots of fans and he gets lots of money.
